Review of 'Cryptonomicon' on 'Goodreads'

5 stars

Stephenson tells a epic tale of cryptographic intrigue spanning 3 generations and six continents. The book shows how information in war spawned the the modern computer and dominates our economic life today. Though many of us computer and information nerds will have read the book for its insight into technology, the characters woven together in this tapestry are compelling.
