Review of 'Snow falls' on 'Goodreads'

great things: gerri hill writes a lot in this subgenre of unhappily-het-coupled-woman-discovers-same-sex-attraction in a broody/reclusive lesbian, in this book we catch up with Reese & Morgan again from No Strings, and the sex scenes are well done.

meh things: i wasn’t convinced of the mutual attraction between Jen and Ryan in the first chunk of the book. Ryan’s interest was more obvious because she’s the lesbian, but Jen...for this type of sheltered and naive woman to be believably in insta-love with a woman after a few weeks? it seemed too hurried, so much so that at one point scrolled back to check if the audiobook had skipped chapters inadvertently.

tl;dr this felt like a breezy romance masquerading as an angst-ridden and yearning romance, so it felt hurried and not very deep
