I think some stories were better than others but Rampo's style and ideas were quite great! I was particularly thrilled reading The Human Chair !

There wasn't a single story in the collection that I didn't enjoy. Definitely reminiscent of Edgar Allan Poe. The mystery stories were very clever and the other tales were so amazingly bizarre. All of the stories are an interesting look into the human mind.
