Review of 'Bel canto' on 'Goodreads'

I expected to like this much more than I did. If I remember correctly, it's an award winner, and quite popular. I wasn't wowed. However, I'm glad I read it, as we visited the indie bookstore Patchett co-owns in Nashville, where I purchased a signed copy of Bel Canto (and DH purchased a couple of other autographed books, one of which he's already enjoying)(and I picked up some fun book swag).
