The latest Marrs is breathtakingly addictive. Despite myself, I literally could not stop reading. I was on holiday, so I didn't have anything pressing to do, but every chapter and every revelation felt brilliantly-executed.
A high number of proofing errors really annoyed me, but given the price, that's not a complaint I feel should influence the book too much - and I blame publishers, as a rule, anyway. The story line, characters and writing generally was top drawer. Highly recommended.
