Viper continues the story of Halo the lead singer of the extremely successful Fallen Angel and the lead guitarist, Viper.
Life is going good for them both, hidden away from the world as the band gets to work on creating more hits, but being in a bubble isn't always good because you forget that there is a world out there. Viper has become so used to having his Angel at his side and in his bed - and dare I say it Halo is working his way into Viper’s heart - though I can hear the protests from here. (lol)

Because if he gets too comfortable, if he lets Angel too close, Viper fears he will be hurt again - that he will have left himself open and vulnerable and he doesn't do that. I found myself wanting to hug the bad boy once I’ve removed his daily bottle of whisky away and tell him that Angel isn't whoever hurt him before. That he also isn't the former leader of TBD and close friend of Viper and fellow member of Fallen Angel, Killian - the reason they needed Halo in the first place.
Absentee Trent.
Viper is brilliant to read, a book you can't put down and one were you will laugh and you will sigh in frustration and want to scream in both their faces to see the truth in both Halo and Viper’s eyes and hearts. That everything happens for a reason; especially having Killian know Halo would be the missing piece for Fallen Angel.
and if Viper can trust both himself and the blonde angel too.. maybe he can be happy.
