Vampire's Consort has so much potential for a fun, romantic read but it was just too short.
By the time Gabriel and Brenna begin to have a real spark, the book is nearly over and I was left wanting more... it felt awfully rushed and if I'm honest their connection didn't feel as strong and believable as you would have believed it to be given their mutual desire for so long.
It was a good distraction for perhaps an hour at most but I think I needed a whole lot more to understand the concept of the Virtual Reality world that brings about the Vampire's Consort scenario that Gabriel and Brenna experience together. There just simply wasn't enough to hold my attention to read more of the series which is a shame.
