Completely enjoyable thriller with plenty of twists and turns!

I enjoyed [b:The Wife Between Us|34189556|The Wife Between Us|Greer Hendricks|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1496862122s/34189556.jpg|55227731] but I think this one was even better. I saw some twists coming but others took me completely by surprise. I love it when that happens!

I think my only complaint is that the use of first person POV and present tense was very distracting at times. It took me a while to get to the point where the narration flowed over me instead of making me stumble. But I'm very glad that I stuck with it.

Very fun read!

Big thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for the ARC!!

Do you notice the symbolism? The colors we chose are yin and yang. They represent beginnings—including Christenings and weddings—and endings, such as funerals. Black and white also are opponents in a chess game. Fitting, given what will occur shortly.

OH. MY. GOD.
This book.
What a ride.
