On a whim, I picked this book from a Little Free Library near where I live. I hadn’t read anything by Barbara Kingsolver previously and didn’t know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it. I found it to be an engaging story of finding and keeping connection in an occasionally painful existence.
