The book was initially issued in one paperback-only edition by the specialty crime and mystery publishing house. Hard Case Crime reissued The Colorado Kid in an illustrated paperback edition in May 2019.

Novel about an unexplained death.
Nice to read, but there is no real point of having the story from the point of view of three journalists many years after the "Colorado Kid" died. Absolutely nothing happens in the narration present time.
