One of my favorite series author posted a list of books you should check out. Being adventurous and after his last post like that introduced me to the really good "Darwin Elevator" trilogy I grabbed this one to check it out.
I was not disappointed at all. A great take on the idea of necromancy along with some great characters and story telling. The new protagonist in the series is introduced along with some backstory, as well as a great introduction to the universe and its magical rules. Great book, looking forward to the others in the series
