Great series and incredible story

4 stars

Excellent story that involves a new dimension in this book. Our main character continues to evolve and in many ways is becoming more human and in touch with those around him. Yet the military scifi action continues after a brief but slow beginning. However, I think the opening is necessary to set the stage of what's to come and devlop our characters a bit. I liked it and cannot wait to hop into the next book!

Even more enjoyable than the last one

4 stars

I'm really enjoying this series, and as it goes on it seems like the comraderie and such are really coming back strong, and it's really making me happy reading, it's really enjoyable, it's also a big plus for me that it's less bleak than the second book, really enjoyed this one all in all :)

4 stars

Kloos has not written one in this series that suffered from, what's more often called "Second Book Syndrome" (where the second book of a trilogy isn't very strong and it's just a transitional book to the next), until now. This book very much is a setup to the next chapter of the series and is probably the weakest of the whole thing. Still an enjoyable read.
