Amazing, creepy, hilarious and just the right amount of emotionally sweet. I enjoy how Kat weaves in Washington lore with mystical and fantastical things, yet still manages to make Harper absolutely and utterly human. A heroine doesn't have to be perfect, with every man she meets secretly lusting after her and have an array of dazzling magic at her fingertips to boot, and what keeps me coming back is the way Harper has grown and changed through the years.
