Sweeney Boo takes great care of the lead character. Mindy is a very sweet character who struggles with emotional eating. Boo shows us glimpses of Mindy's childhood and how this particular issue had permeated throughout her entire life. There are hints of probable causes but no real conclusion can be drawn. Still, the past does not matter so as much as the journey.

Mindy is forced to confront her habits and is able to make some sense of them and is able to move on with her life.
