This graphic novel is an extremely good memoir. This is up there with the best of American Splendor in my view for a GN that captures the pain and joy of life. I highly recommend this book but be warned if you have raw unprocessed grief in your life, it might be tough sledding. I myself had to take frequent breaks to hug and cuddle with a five year old to help me through it. This might best be something digested over a period of time to let it sit.
I give it my highest rating. It's everything you can hope for from the medium.

I read largely science fiction and comics with some non-fiction mixed in. I'm warming up to mystery with Bosch and the Slow Horses books.
