DNFing this book. I’m almost done with the second chapter but the writing style is too complicated for me to follow. Extremely long paragraphs and chapters made the book feel endless. It also just feels like a long monologue that cannot make me want to keep reading. It saddens me because I really wanted to read this book.

I did enjoy the book but it felt like some chapters were a bit repetitive therefore unnecessary. Some of the language is not appropriate and it has been correctly pointed out throughout the years. Besides that, the story is good and original; and the ending is good.
