This book was easy to read but compelling. This true story is about a respected builder who stayed in New Orleans through Hurricane Katrina to look after his property and the property of his neighbors and clients, and about his family, who fled from the storm. After enduring the devastation of the hurricane and the strange peace that followed, Zeitoun ran up against the authorities who were sent to New Orleans to help maintain order.
