This looks like a fun and a bit different take on the childhood friends falling in love trope.
Reviews and Comments
I work in a used book shop in a small town in Sweden. I often prefer to spend my evenings with a book rather than the TV. I mostly read Science Fiction and Fantasy, but the occasional non-genre or literary fiction book slips through too as well as crime. I read to relax, to escape and recharge. I read shockingly few books in Swedish, my native language, and I keep telling myself I should read more without much happening.

This is such a nice series, two people becoming friends over a common interest, inspite of a significant age gap. Unusually, you don't really need to be particularly interested in the hobby (Boys Love manga in this case, obviously) to easily understand the fascination the characters have for it. In this volume we see them deepen their friendship, and get some hints of possible future complications and directions. This is slice of life manga at its best.

Good start to a cute romance with a twist
Another romance manga, this time with a hard-working and struggling mangaka taking care of his younger siblings. He is assigned a new assistant, a beautiful young woman who almost seems a perfect fit for him.
The basic premise here, with its own twist, is that of a young couple who will have to get married before they even know each other. This first volume moved things along a little quicker than I expected, the author seems to acknowledge that this might have been expected, with an almost fourth wall breaking little joke. The art and panel work is good, more than competent, and I think it shows they know what they are doing.
I liked it, even if I would have liked things to move a little more slowly. A few more scenes outside the house would have been nice too. It'll be fun to follow this and …

It'll be fun to follow this and see how Amagakure deals with the various tropes of the genre (not that I'm particularly knowledgeable) and where they are taking the story.
Jarulf finished reading Skip and Loafer Volume 1 (Skip and Loafer, #1)
This was a fun read, but not all that fresh perhaps. It's a high school love story, or is heading that way at least, with good art and engaging characters, but I'm not entirely convinced it's for me yet. I may pick up one or two more volumes before I decide.
