Lectura.Social pone el énfasis en literatura de habla castellana, y hay que reconocer que en el fenómeno #solarpunk no hay muchos ejemplos de esto. De hecho, hay tan poco, que para cuando podamos hablar de un #solarpunk «hispano», igual el flujo de tendencias ya haya dejado atrás este fenómeno.

Pero algo que caracteriza al movimiento #solarpunk es que se inició al margen del ámbito anglosajón (concretamente, en Brasil), y que en sus principales manifestaciones mantiene un nivel de diversidad (también cultural y lingüística) que ya quisieran para sí otras tendencias. Por no hablar del hecho de que la literatura de ficción es solo una parte de este movimiento.
