As all academics know, you can't ask this question in a job interview.

But I guess it's OK when it's not a job interview, when it's the govt asking, and the govt includes a high-ranking official who gives salutes.

This happened at . Probably no accident that Barnard is affiliated with . Trump officials said they had a right to the personal contact info, and the school handed it over.

I generally try to represent the full range of German folk tales, but some require a lot more editorial care than others - those involving are the most obvious example.

That being said, there are a few singular tales which are just so plain horrible that I just can't bring myself to translate them.

"Antisemitism" (German: "Antisemitismus") was coined by Wilhelm Marr, a rabid antisemite, as an alternative to the more honest term, "Jew-hate" ("Judenhass"), to make it sound scientific, not racist.

So now "antizionist" is the term favored by rabid antisemites as an alternative to the more honest term, "antisemitism". The goal is to make it sound political, not racist.

The racist euphemism treadmill is endless.

Jews and Israel in Canada:

"Among non-Jewish Canadians, the correlation between attitudes toward Jews and attitudes toward Israel is positive, statistically significant, and at the low end of moderate. This means that, although some critics of Israel have negative attitudes toward Jews, most do not. Exceptions include Muslims, who tend to score relatively high on negative attitudes toward Jews and Israel"
