M-NET (1982) , the world first and longest running Public Access UNIX System is now under the stewardship of SDF Vintage Systems.

Please come enjoy living INTERNET history either with your existing M-NET user account or as a 'ssh guest@m-net.arbornet.org' (alternatively, on https://connect.sdf.org)

Thanks to Dan and Tony for allowing SDF Vintage Systems to preserve M-NET!

btw is an imaginary community full of slowing down and nourish and taking care of each other vibes. The imagined infrastructure as well as the culture.
Everybody's ideas welcome.

You don't have to be a spoonie to hang out in Spoonie Town, you just need to want to Slow Down and Heal Things.

As most of you know DrupalCamp England is returning on 1st March -- first one after a 5-year hiatus. Tickets are now live on Eventbrite, and with only 150 tickets available, they are selling fast.

I still remember our first post-gap Drupal meetup in London, which saw 43 passionate Drupal enthusiasts coming together. We didn't want to take a huge risk by planning a large number, but on a personnel level, I know for sure that this camp has got much bigger audience. So don't miss your chance to be part of the excitement and book your ticket ASAP.

A big thanks to our sponsors for helping us keep ticket prices affordable. This a going to be a memorable event for the insightful talks we are planning to put on and for the networking opportunity. And I am sure it will boost …

On this, our first Friday of 2025, I want to share a few things that I think will be more important than ever in the coming days:

1. Be the neighbors you'd like to have.
2. Hug your friends more.
3. Make more friends to hug.
4. Normalize platonic cuddling.
5. Be a safe space for people.
6. Ignore capitalism's bids for your attention.
7. Make an investor's day worse.
8. Reach out if you need someone to talk to.

Happy Friday y'all ❤️❤️

theory in practise time... I know there's plenty of people on here with experience in organising for FOSS projects...

is looking to adopt an RFC process for handling large distro-wide changes (since we have grown beyond the scope where a small team can feasibly comprehend the entire distro).

I'd love to get some input on how we can make this something productive, im particularly worried about introducing too much process overhead.

The initial outline is at https://gitlab.postmarketos.org/postmarketOS/rfc/-/merge_requests/1/diffs
