As an author and artist, I'm a small business doing my best to be seen and heard in the loud and crowded marketplace. Each week, I share one of my creations with you. Maybe one of them will ring your chimes. Up this week: the deathwalking (psychopomp work) anthology that I edited. If you're curious about this type of spiritual work, this book focusing on modern practitioners is a great introduction. Details: https://www.lauraperryauthor.com/deathwalking

It's the ! I write pagan and magical fiction and non-fiction, a great deal of which focuses on the ancient Minoans. You can explore my titles here:

I am home taking care of family members with COVID and I am bored AF. And I was thinking this might be a good time to work on the thing (book?) I am writing about my Dad's life but I am having so much trouble with motivation for the writing part (as opposed to the researching and thinking about it part). And I was wondering about using this account as a way to sort of micr-blog my writing. I feel so much more motivation when I've got an audience, it doesn't matter how small the audience. Has anyone tried this as a tool for writing motivation and want to tell me how it went/ is going?

As an author and artist, I'm a small business trying to make my way in the crowded marketplace. Once a week I share one of my creations with you. Maybe one of them will ring your chimes. Up this week: Labrys & Horns, the how-to guide for inclusive Minoan spirituality. Meet the deities, set up an altar, invite their energies into your life, do some sacred crafts and other fun stuff. Ariadne, Dionysus, Rhea, the Minotaur, Therasia and so many others await you...

Not My Type by E Jean Carroll was definitely a five star read for me. She is whip-smart, funny, and hey- like she'll tell you, she's fabulous! The majority of the book is spent going over the first trial- chapter 40 (the last and longest chapter) goes over the second trial. A woman standing up for herself against the most powerful man in the US is someone to be proud of. Her bravery is admirable.

Here I am again, a writer/artist (i.e., small business) letting you know about some of the things I do. I find marketing awkward, but it's a necessity these days, so please bear with me.

This is the second edition of my first book: Ancient Spellcraft. It's full of spells for a variety of needs and circumstances, in connection with powerful ancient deities. Expand your polytheism and your magic as you explore the possibilities!
