Mark Zuckerberg has entered his libertarian era

"The Meta CEO has called Trump twice this summer alone and even referred to him as a "badass" after the assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania. Zuckerberg has not yet pursued a connection with Vice President Kamala Harris, the NYT reported."

A far right party founded by former SS members wins the largest voting block in Austria. We’ve made progress fighting the fascists in some places but so many battles ahead. I see like in the US we’ve allowed the far right to co-opt the word “freedom” and probably others like “family” as exclusively their own. Gotta put a stop to that shit like yesterday

Canada's ruled as not real journalism.

"Rebel News doesn't qualify for journalism tax credits because it doesn't produce enough original news content.....less than one per cent of its content was original news.....its content largely promoted one perspective.....assessed 423 news reports.....283 of the items were not based on facts, nor were multiple perspectives actively pursued, researched, analyzed, or explained by a journalist"

News media: "In a blow to Harris, Bob from Texas has decided that he just can't vote for her."

Also the news media: "Trump went five minutes without saying something horribly racist, only _somewhat_ racist, is this a sign of a new direction for his campaign?"
