It turns out "my" shirt design was stolen and used by some US assholes who now sell a Rob Anybody t-shirt.
I can't do anything about that, except giving everybody the design for free - if it has to be out there, nobody should profit from it.
If you end up using it, please PLEASE donate to one of Pratchett's favorite charities or at least to somebody in need.
And add a line somewhere, maybe?

GNU Terry Pratchett. 10 years gone but never forgotten. Looking around this corner of the internet I see people starting their Discworld journeys for the first time. I see long time readers finding each other. I see friends who started as fellow fans. He changed so many lives. Thank you Terry. I'll raise a toast today on your birthday. A man is not dead while is name is still spoken, or until the ripples he left in the world fade.

'Each man thought: one of the others is bound to say something soon, some protest and then I'll murmur agreement, not actually *say* anything, I'm not stupid as that, but definitely murmur very firmly, so that the others will be in no doubt that I thoroughly disapprove, because at a time like this it behooves all decent men to nearly stand up and be almost heard ...

But no-one said anything. The cowards, each man thought.'

Where to start with: Terry Pratchett

With more than 75m copies of his books sold around the world, Terry Pratchett is one of the most loved British writers, best known for his comic fantasy novels set on a fictional planet, . Ten years on from the author’s death, and just before what would have been his 77th birthday, Pratchett’s biographer Marc Burrows has put together a guide to his hero’s work

It's been ten years since we lost Sir Terry Pratchett. He was a huge influence on my sense of humour, my writing style, and my outlook on life.

I am celebrating his life today by re-reading my first ever Discworld book.

(Ignore my soup, I'm also very hungry.)

I've seen an awful lot of quotes from Terry's various works today, and I can't decide whether to be comforted that he already had humanity mapped out and gently introduced me to it, or kinda depressed that he wrote some of those words 30+ years ago and people aren't really any better.

oh christ, I've been wondering why Im in just an utterly black mood today.

Terry Pratchett died 10 years ago today.

That day I walked to the store, bought a plastic bottle of vodka, and drank most of it while crying at a public park.

a few days later I got "How do they rise up" tattoo'd on my inner bicep.

Generally considered a femme place to get a tattoo but I liked it anyways.

Its hard to put into words what that man and his Works meant to me. What they still mean to me.

He taught me "Dont get scared, get angry"

That "there is no justice. There is just us."

That revolutions rarely help the people who need help, they usually just swap one ruling body for another.

That your gender expression is whatever the …

It's been 10 years.

I often wonder how Tiffany is doing?
What's young Sam up to?
What's Moist doing with his time?
Is Vetinari still going, or did he finally meet his match?

Most of all though, I miss the new words. The characters were my friends, the Discworld my hideaway.

I miss all of them, as well as their creator - even though I never met him.

Terry's words made me who I am today. They gave me the courage to ask questions, to stand up for what is right and have comforted me in my grief.

Thank you for your words Terry, they mean so much to so many. You live on in so many of us.

Since I'm not new, just new to mastadon.art, this will have to do as an 😁

A nice review of my high /attempted story The Last Philosopher.
