My favorite quote for today:

β€œConsider it: every person you have ever met, every person will suffer the loss of his friends and family. All are going to lose everything they love in this world. Why would one want to be anything but kind to them in the meantime?”
― Sam Harris, The End of Faith: Religion, Terror, and the Future of Reason

Hey witches (and others) I need a . I'm trying to clean up the media input so I'm cutting myself off from shows/podcasts about murder, sexual assault and cults...I love mystery documentaries but so many of them just end in murder...
And I'm not at all a fan of fiction...
Can anyone suggest a podcast or show that are RL mysteries OTHER than murder, or something I don't know about? Bonus if it's got good cinematography/beautiful locations and .

When human rights are suspended...
When prohibitions no longer serve to protect all....
When unjust becomes law...
When people are influenced...

'Take heed not to be transformed into a Caesar, not to be dipped in the purple dye, for it does happen.

Keep yourself therefore, simple, good, pure, grave, unaffected, the friend of , religious, kind, affectionate, strong for your proper work.

Wrestle to be the man wished to make you. Reverence the gods, save men. Life is brief; there is but one harvest of earthly existence, a holy disposition and neighborly acts.'

@bookstodon

wasn't great in some ways, but:

1) I have a colleague who's helping me figure things out, and

2) because of procrastinating about work-for-pay I got a huge amount of writing done on my current book, the sequel to Ray and the Cat Thing (which by the way is free till tomorrow on Amazon)

I do love writing.
