One of the best bits is being able to order bike parts from wherever I can find them and then do repairs myself. If I can't, my local repair shop can order them and do it for me. Unlike when owning a #VanMoof bike, anyone can do this, if capable. Parts are often available, even years later - in my case Shimano parts for a 10-year old #roadbike. Sometimes the original parts, sometimes new parts replacing old series.
By far the best #cycling -related book I ever bought. Time and again I go through it when something needs fixing. It has bookmarks and notes throughout, after all these years; component codes of bike parts from my bikes scribbled in the book's diagrams; grease stains on frequently consulted pages.
Adding it after all this time because it was on my table after using it yesterday.
