Doing a solid for somebody who is doing me one...

Matt Farley is a new author trying to get what looks like a promising mystery/SF/horror novel off the ground. So, if you have an opportunity, and a few extra dollars/pounds/euros lying around, do give it a look:

This Sunday at 9pm Eastern (that's 1am Monday UTC) it's the weekly monster movie watch party! Come watch a monster movie with a bunch of nerds!

We've watched two terrible Sword and Sandal movies, so now let's watch a good one. This week's film is JASON AND THE ARGONAUTS (1963), widely regarded as Ray Harryhausen's best work. At this point I'll be satisfied if the plot is coherent :P

The flick's available free with ads over on Tubi: https://tubitv.com/movies/674726/jason-and-the-argonauts

Or you can download from Archive.org over here: https://archive.org/details/jason-and-the-argonauts-1963_202511

See you this Sunday!

It doesn’t feel like I’m afflicting anyone. They make their choices. And they endure the consequences.

3/10. Antagonist POV: Imagine you achieved your goal. What’s next?

Hah! Thats the root of their downfall. There’s no real long-range plan. It’s a target without a real purpose. Like a lot of technological toys.
