8/19 - Talk about the influence folklore has on your work.

I read a lot of folk tales as a kid. My grandma had a collection.

However, little of that makes it into my stories. The exception is the legend of Frederick Barbarossa - that is part of my Konrad tale Finderlohn (in German).

Don't want to spoil anything, but trust me, it makes sense in the book.
