Haven't mentioned it much, but I've been reading Non-Stop by Brian W. Aldiss and even though it took a bit to hook me, it has really been a great read so far, some great revelations were made and I'm looking forward to the last act!

I've read read plenty of long books in my life but the book I'm currently wins the 'longest author's name' prize by at least 12 parsecs

Right from the start it made me think with dates like "the third/ninth century" - it took me a moment to realise it was AH/CE in that order. Fascinating stuff
