Going through my unread comics and manga collections.

Last night I finished the 2025 print of Akira Volume 1: Tetsuo. What wasnt adapted to the anime film really adds another dimension to the story. Thr main difference is a Neo-Tokyo biker gang war that was in the film by Tetsuo saving a woman from other gang members (if I'm remembering correctly, it's been decades). I like the manga version better.

Next up is the Kamandi omnibus for some good old Jack Kirby.

Finally read Kei Sanbe's Erased, a about a guy who can rewind time to avoid catastrophic events, usually just a couple of minutes.

However, he will somehow end up 18 years in the past when he was a kid, to try and stop a serial killer, save his classmates, and change his future.

Read the whole thing in a day!

It's been a while but I finally finished another !

by Yagi Norihiro, who also created before it

I enjoyed it a lot, I don't think I've checked any Japanese other than or .

It feels inspired by , and even.

It has bit of everything, and it was pretty awesome, a bit of a rushed ending, but a good one nonetheless!

Some cool panels (there's even cooler ones I don't wanna spoil)

sooooo I've caught up with Chainsaw Man . It's cool. I like Denji. Denji is like the idiot main character from the shonen genre, but he is a horny idiot. And it is very important.

I've come to like a lot CSM, but I think it is a mess. I like the devil/rule thing, but definitely Undead Unluck made it so much better, and by having this contrast I can finally get why Undead Unluck is so great.

But I like CSM. It's good. What should I read next?

Started reading ChainsawMan. I think I like this format way more than the , which is great, but has to subject to many anime tropes.

I just finished Reze's arc. I thought it was very well done, not so corny, with the raw style and narrative from the series. I think this makes the emotional bits hit harder.

Still, there's stuff that you see coming way earlier, but I guess the charm is how Fujimoto arrives there.
