I find Charlotte extremely fascinating. I'm always hungry for information about her character, her appearance, her siblings. This book was a wonderful way to introduce the meal. Do not take this piece book as truth, it is still fiction although it is largely based on truth. I will admit, James' version of Charlotte does not align with mine and I was shocked by it. Even after reading this novel, I still don't truly see the Charlotte in this book as the real Charlotte. Unfortunately, we never will, no matter how hard we try.
