I feel bad but I stopped reading this after a few chapters. It's really aimed at teen girls (I imagine) and really feels obvious, clunky, predictable and naive to me, maybe I'm just old and jaded. To be fair it's the sort of thing I probably would have loved 37 years ago, but I'm no longer 15
