4 stars

A quick and amusing read appropriate for fans of the Harry Potter and/or Artemis Fowl series. Urban fantasy with snappy dialogue for the younger readers.

12 year old Stephanie inherits a house from her fantasy-writer uncle. Unfortunately, with it she also inherits a whole heap of trouble, as it turns out that her uncle's books are not as fantastic as they seem at the first glance.
