The Dragon Has Some Complaints

Garrodigh is a curmudgeonly three-headed dragon who pretends to be tame so he can eat for free at the local dragon-riding academy. It’s the perfect plan! With his injuries he can’t fly anymore, and mysterious armies keep invading his homeland and drive away the prey. But he’s assigned a cheery rider, Rania, who immediately believes the two of them have a deep spiritual bond. Garrodigh has to play along, or else he’ll be discovered. He just has to make it through “bath time” without devouring anybody.

And his three heads don't see eye-to-eye. Centerhead despises humanity and hopes infiltrating the academy will let him burn it down in a show of rebellion. Bottomhead is closer to a feral cat and quickly gets addicted to Rania's snacks and head-scritches. Their adventures are hardest on Upperhead, who’s got a peculiar problem: he thinks he’s actually human and this is all a delusion he’ll wake up from soon. Probably tomorrow.

Yes, this is a disabled dragon book. All Garrodigh’s heads are going on an adventure uncovering the secrets of their new home, wrangling their excitable and eccentric rider, fighting off the human armies that keep invading the academy, and maybe—just maybe—learning to fly again. It’ll take all three parts of himself to get through this.
