Am I the only one who liked the ending? I really enjoyed this book the most out of the whole trilogy. The first book was okay and the second book does not even hold any memories in my mind. I loved the action, the romance, the scandal, I loved all of it! Of course, this doesn't mean that I don't hold any complaints against this book.

Most of the women I see here are complaining about the fact that Kartik turned into a tree. While I was greatly saddened by this (I even held back tears... I'm such a hopless romantic), I did like the ending. Life does not always turn out like you would hope to be. There are rarely any happy endings. Gemma chooses to move on with life despite all her tragedies.

Am I the only one being comforted by unhappy endings? It wasn't even an unhappy …
