Abschied von Oberbozen

The cog railway up to Oberbozen from Bozen was build in 1907. The author saw that as an intrusion into the perfect idyll and peace of a place that represented his childhood and meant so much to him. In this short text accompanied by photographies taken by Oswald Kofler almost 100 years later, Hans von Hoffensthal says farewell to this place, thinking back to the memories of his childhood.
