Japanese-American track-and-field star Mizuki has gotten a transfer to the school in Japan that her idol Izumi Sano attends. The problem is that it's an all-boy school and Mizuki is assigned to room with Izumi. Can she keep her secret from her idol, her schoolmates, and even the school doctor?
Lucky volume 13! :D This is one of my favourite volumes in the Hana Kimi series. Mainly because Kayashima is one of my favourite characters... I mean look, he's on the COVER! Anyway, fangirling aside, this was a pretty nice tribute-ish volume to Kayashima. I can see your aura! XD
When I first saw the cover of this volume I was like " =O That looks like Leonard DiCaprio!" Then he was introduced as "Gilbert" and I was pretty sure that was a character Leo played as... (it was Johnny Depp actually. Close but no cigar) And then Hisaya Nakajo blurbed in one of the side sections how she based him on Leo. Called it. XD
The storyline was pretty cute. The main men geting jealous. Rekindled childhood friendships. Adorable. :3
