okay, 2.5
what can i say? i finished it because i hardly ever Not finish a book but this is the disappointment of the year (and i had to read some really shitty novels for class but they don't even count).
unfullfilling ending, bad character development, not that interesting of a plot and unlikable main character. yeah, it's about abuse and the like but this book is just meh.
i liked the reference to pale fire, though.
