Very good, a tad samey
4 stars

First two stories really wowed me, but after that the shine came off just a bit. Too many of these stories (three, I think?) feature some group of people having had their memories science-fictionally wiped, generally as a result of being down and out in some way in their previous lives, grappling with some disruption in whatever artificial dystopian world they inhabit.
So that started to feel a bit repetitive, and the prose maybe a bit samey. But this is all me justifying giving this collection 4 stars instead of 5, because I really did mostly find the stories very compelling.
