Not nearly as good as Tales of the South Pacific

I was excited to read "Return to Paradise" after reading "Tales of the South Pacific" which I gave a 5 out of 5 rating. However, Michener not wanting to do a repeat of the Tales, chose a different format, which I found alternately engaging and tedious.
