Review of "Gideon's sword" on 'Goodreads'

Gideon Crew is the complete opposite of Pendergast. One of the things that appealed to me the most about Pendergast was his enigmatic character, and his almost inflappable nature. Of course, i do like that the authors can write a novel with a main character that is different from Pendergast.

Maybe because i read this book in eBook format instead of listening to the narrated version, but I didn't find it as gripping as any of the Pendergast books. However, when #2 comes out, i'll definitely read it. Maybe Gideon Crew is a character that has to grow on me.
