3+. Nick Hornby is one of my favorite authors. This isn't his best work, IMHO, but he doesn't write anything bad. It took me a while to get into the story. Once in, I cared about Lucy & Joseph (and Lucy's boys). The integration of relatively recent events (Brexit, primarily; the 2016 USA presidential election to a much lesser degree) was interesting.
