Review of 'On Tyranny Graphic Edition' on 'Goodreads'

This graphic novel presents Timothy Snyder's twenty lessons about tyranny perfectly with illustrations from Nora Krug. I read this thanks to my local library, but now I want my own copy so I will support a favourite indie bookstore by purchasing it from them soon.
I want to have those lessons by my side for quick reference over the coming years.

Review of 'On Tyranny Graphic Edition' on 'Goodreads'

This book is meant to both raise the alarm and provides ways to resist the rise of tyranny and authoritarianism. Obviously, this is done with a clear eye on the Trump administration and shows how the tactics used by it have long roots in history. And that is the other key point of the book: history matters against the defeatist twins of politics of inevitability and the politics of eternity.
The book is much enhanced by the graphic format.
But do not get stuck on the section titles as, without context, some of them sound like coming from Trumpers, Anons, antivaxxers, and other bad actors.
A book for our times.
