It was refreshing to read a story that took place an apocalypse well into effect rather than churn through the beginnings. The narrative was a bit murky for me at times as it hops across past, present, and future but the story unfolds over only a three day time period. Whitehead's writing and shines through and I ultimately enjoyed the journey.
