Inkheart

A twelve-year-old girl named Meggie discovers that her father, Mo, can transport fictional characters out of books and into the real world by reading the stories out loud. Many years ago, Mo read a book called Inkheart and brought to life an evil villain named Capricorn, at the same time losing his wife inside the story. Now, after Capricorn kidnaps Mo to use his magical powers, Meggie must use her own abilites to stop Capricorn and save Mo, with the help of Fenoglio, the author of Inkheart, and Dustfinger, another character who was taken from Inkheart.
