Wasn't expecting much from this book but actually was pleasantly surprised. Different and enjoyable. If a little bit foreshadow-y and deus ex machina, (although no more than computer games are so it didn't bug me)
Bit puzzled as to why they weren't any women in the mine, but whatever, sort of expect that from male writers.
